"...from those who love you"
Our family and Olio Angelino share a fundamental page of their history: a declaration of love. It is a letter written in the 1960s by Angelo “Angelino” Macirella to Isabella “Sabellina” Carlone.
Grandpa Angelino, a humble farmer from Minervino Murge, decides to declare his unconditional love to Grandma Sabellina, stopping in time a gesture that smacks of other times, spontaneous and extraordinary at the same time. Within a year, the young Angelino and Sabellina will marry and begin their adventure together, between life in the village and that in the countryside, to follow Angelino’s lands and reap the fruits.
“I remember very well how much Grandpa Angelino cared about taking me for walks through the olive groves. In the summer, when the first olives began to grow, he would take me to the fields and say, ‘All the love I’ve given to these plants, you’ll see on your table soon: the oil will arrive!’”

The olive groves themselves, inherited from the younger generation of our family, are managed according to organic farming regulations.
The tenderness conveyed by our grandparents’ words never fails to move us and motivates us to give back that love to the world, albeit in a different way.
